Leslie Ashburn is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a focus on language instruction and critical thinking. Currently, Leslie holds the position of Virtual Educator Program member at the U.S. Department of State and serves as a Senior Tutor and Essay Reviewer at Paper. Leslie has contributed as a Language Instructor and Curriculum Developer at Academia Management Corporation since 2016, and previously taught as an Associate Professor at Hawaii Tokai International College and as an ESL Adjunct Instructor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, engaging diverse international student populations. Leslie's background includes a robust involvement in English language education, extensive use of technology in teaching, and research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. Leslie holds an MA in ESL from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a BS in Psychology from the University of Oregon.
