Jerica Lamar is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in public relations and international affairs, serving as a Public Relations Manager at the U.S. Department of State since June 2016. In this role, Jerica has led initiatives in Latin America, Europe, and Asia, and successfully directed a qualitative study on immigrant visa processes. As a Business Owner of The New College Mindset, Jerica focuses on supporting first and second-generation college students through practical advice and networking opportunities. Jerica's background also includes managing refugee employment programs in Maryland and serving as a Teacher and Community Development Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in the Philippines. Jerica holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Cedarville University.
