Jeff Austin holds multiple advanced degrees including an MHR and an MBA, and possesses extensive experience in human resources management. Currently serving as the Head of HR for Canada at the U.S. Department of State, Jeff oversees HR functions across nine facilities and 1,400 employees. Prior to this role, Jeff was a Human Resources Manager at International Paper, where key contributions included leading staffing efforts during mergers, developing compensation plans, managing talent acquisition and talent management initiatives, and implementing change management strategies. Jeff's expertise encompasses leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and strategic HR operations across multiple global regions.
