Angela James is an experienced professional in information technology and policy advisory roles, currently serving as the Principal Policy Advisor and Chief of the Information Integrity Branch at the U.S. Department of State since July 2020. Prior to this, Angela held various leadership positions including Information Technology Security Branch Chief at the U.S. Census Bureau and IT Specialist at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. Angela has a robust background in network engineering and information security, with prior roles at Jacobs, the U.S. Army Audit Agency, Engility Corporation, TEKsystems, L-3 Communications, and the US Navy. Angela holds a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership and multiple degrees from the University of Phoenix, including an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology - Networking.
