Lynn Albert currently serves as the Acting Director of Policy, Projects and Regulatory Services at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) since November 2023. Prior to this role, Lynn held positions including Senior Advisor for Aquaculture and Fisheries with the Office of the Hon Jo Palmer and Acting Assistant Director of Strategic Projects and Policy at NRE Tas. Lynn's extensive experience at NRE Tas also includes serving as a Senior Project Manager and various roles at Sunshine Coast Council, such as Coordinator Biodiversity and Waterways and Senior Biodiversity Project Officer. Lynn holds a Master's degree in Environmental Economics and Policy from Griffith University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
