Daniel Hack is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and network administration. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Officer at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) since August 2022, Daniel previously held roles at the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) as a Network Administrator from 2014 to August 2022, and at Forestry Tasmania from 2007 to 2014 as a System Administrator/IT Infrastructure Team Leader. Earlier roles include network administration positions at Queensland Cotton and Herron Pharmaceuticals. Daniel's expertise encompasses networking architecture, security management, disaster recovery, and system administration across diverse environments. Additionally, Daniel has a background in music production, with experience in songwriting and recording through a role at Sticky Horse from 2010 to 2016. Daniel completed education at Wynnum State High between 1984 and 1988.
