Nina Calleja is currently the Manager of the Policy and Strategy Team in the Aboriginal Health Division at the Victorian Department of Health, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Nina served as the Acting Manager of Programs and Social Inclusion at the City of Melbourne, focusing on projects aligned with the Council's Reconciliation Action Plan. Previous experience includes serving as Acting Program Manager and Project Officer at Victoria Police, where Nina contributed to an independent review addressing sexual harassment and gender inequality. Additional roles include consulting at Siggins Miller, volunteering at the International Women's Development Agency, and working as a Gender Advisor in Vietnam, where Nina managed gender awareness programs and coordinated training. Nina holds a Master's degree in Human Rights Law, an Honours degree in International Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Journalism, all from Monash University.
