Sunita Satyapal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sunita started their career as a Visiting Student/Scientist at Hokkaido University in 1989 and then moved on to work as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Vassar College from 1990 to 1992. Afterward, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University from 1992 to 1994. Sunita then joined the United Technologies Research Center, where they worked as a Manager/Scientist/Senior Scientist in the Chemical Sciences/Energy Systems Group from 1994 to 2000. Sunita transitioned to UTC Power and took on the role of Manager in Cell Stack Technology and Business Development from 2000 to 2003. Sunita then joined the U.S. Department of Energy, initially as the Chief Engineer & Deputy Program Manager of the Fuel Cell Technologies Office, where they previously served as the Storage Team Leader. Sunita later became the Director of the Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Program/Fuel Cell Technologies Office. The exact dates for their roles at the U.S. Department of Energy are not specified.
