Jesse Altum is a Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of Energy, with previous roles including PONI Nuclear Scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and NNSA Nonproliferation Fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Jesse has extensive experience in program analysis across various U.S. government agencies, including the Department of State and the Department of Justice. In addition to roles in law enforcement with the Denver Police Department, Jesse served as Vice Chair of the Board of Advisors for the One World One Water Center for Urban Water Education and Stewardship. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Elliott School, a Graduate Nuclear Deterrence Certificate from Harvard Extension School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Metropolitan State University of Denver, among other certifications in data science and nuclear nonproliferation.
