Markus Wellmann currently serves as the European Representative for the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services since November 2023, an agency dedicated to promoting Virginia's agricultural sector and ensuring consumer protection. With extensive experience in consulting, Wellmann has held the position of Senior Consultant at PM&Partner Marketing Consulting GmbH since July 2008, focusing on areas such as market investigations and health care management. Additionally, Wellmann has represented several organizations in Europe, including The Right Place, Inc. and Denver South, and previously served as the European Director for the Hampton Roads Alliance until December 2023. Wellmann's background includes a Diplompflegewirt from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and a medical degree from The Philipp University of Marburg.
