Stephen Hinkel is an accomplished public relations professional with extensive experience in sports communications and media relations. Currently serving as the Public Relations Manager at the Denver Rescue Mission since July 2022, Stephen oversees award-winning social media accounts and acts as the spokesperson for the organization. Concurrently, Stephen works as a Statistics Specialist at the Colorado School of Mines, managing in-game stats for the nationally ranked football team. Previous roles include Director of Media Relations at the Western Athletic Conference and Athletic Communications Director at Colorado Christian University, where Stephen created engaging content and coordinated events to promote student-athletes. With earlier positions at Azusa Pacific University, California Institute of Technology, and Saint Mary's College, Stephen has developed a strong foundation in media relations and sports information. Stephen holds a Master's degree in Ministry from Bethel University and a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies from Radford University.
