Whitney Dougherty has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as a Math and Reading Interventionist, Team Lead of Culture, and PBIS Coordinator at Denver Public Schools since August 2015. Prior to this role, Whitney was a 1st Grade Teacher at Vanguard Classical School from August 2011 to August 2015, focusing on creating a rigorous learning environment that emphasizes academic and character development. Earlier professional experience includes a position as Sales Manager at GLJ, LLC dba O2COOL from June 2005 to January 2010, where proven results were delivered within a high-growth consumer goods context. Whitney holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from DePaul University and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations & Sales/Business Marketing from Western Michigan University.
