Cynthia Navarro is an accomplished education professional with over 20 years of experience in various administrative and teaching roles at Denver Public Schools. Currently serving as the Principal at Excel Academy since November 2008, Cynthia has previously held the position of Assistant Principal at Abraham Lincoln High School, overseeing special education compliance, grade levels 11 and 12, as well as the music and art departments. Cynthia's earlier experience includes serving as a special education teacher and department chair at Montbello High School from August 2003 to August 2008. Cynthia holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by coursework at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
