Jo Aguilar has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. They started their career as an intern at BBDO Guerrero in 2013 and later became an Art Director at the same company. In 2013, Jo also worked as a Freelance Illustrator for Esquire magazine. From 2016 to 2021, they joined IdeasXMachina: Hakuhodo, where they held the positions of Senior Art Director and Associate Creative Director. Currently, Jo is working as an Associate Creative Director at Dentsu Jayme Syfu, starting in September 2021.

Jo Aguilar attended Saint Pedro Poveda College from 1992 to 2007. Their degree and field of study during this time is unknown. They later attended and graduated from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Multimedia Arts.
