Buck Owen serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Practice Officer at Dentons, having joined the firm in January 2012. In this role, Buck acts as a key liaison among practice and sector leaders, ensuring the success of US legal practices through strategic development and operational management. Prior to Dentons, Buck held various leadership positions including COO of the Business & Regulation Department at SNR Denton, where responsibilities included overseeing operations for US transactional practice groups, and as CEO of Blue Investment Management, leading a family of socially responsible mutual funds. Buck also has experience with organizations such as The Democracy Alliance, New Democrat Network, SmarterOrg, Digital Medical Systems, The Permanente Medical Group, and Accenture. Buck holds an AB in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
