Ms. Jeri Yoder is a legal nurse consultant with a background in acute care specializing in critical care, education, and management. She has certifications in critical care (CCRN), legal nurse consulting (CLNC), and Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). Ms. Yoder has extensive medical device experience ranging from simple devices like IV stabilization, to implantable devices and life supporting/sustaining devices. Ms. Yoder also has experience in a risk management role in the hospital setting. She has expertise in educating medical professionals, patients, and families along the continuum of care in complex disease processes, trauma, and medical devices. Ms. Yoder has served as a subject matter expert on professional committees, task forces, focus groups, and projects for safety, scope of practice, and product/device evaluation. She has utilized her experience and love for education to assist in training hundreds of nurses in new specialties, medical devices, and continuing education.
Ms. Yoder also has experience analyzing and investigating medical records and injury reports and synthesizing medical summaries outlining critical information such as medical history, co-morbidities, physical injuries, lifestyle factors, subjective evidence, medications, missing medical documents, and deviations from standards of care.
