Scott Rezai Erwin, JD, currently serves as a Precinct Committee Person for the Democratic Party of Oregon since June 2022. Prior to this, Scott held several positions with the City of West Linn, including City Councilor, Planning Commissioner, and Vice Chair of the Historic Review Board from January 2020 to February 2024. Scott's experience also encompasses a role as a self-employed homeschool teacher and childcare provider from March 2020 to September 2021, and as a Compliance Specialist at the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, reviewing public works projects for compliance with prevailing wage laws from October 2018 to November 2019. Additionally, Scott worked for the State of Oregon as an Employment Adjudicator and Business & Employment Specialist from October 2009 to October 2018. Academic credentials include a JD from Drake University Law School, a BA in English from the University of Iowa, and a Certificate in Financial Planning and Services from the College for Financial Planning, expected completion in January 2024.
