Tiago Amaral is a Cable Installation Engineer at DEME Group, responsible for the preparation and engineering of cable installation for offshore wind farm projects, utilizing dynamic analysis software Orcaflex and Python. Prior to this role, Tiago served as a Subsea Engineer at TechnipFMC, focusing on pre-salt and post-salt oil and gas projects, specifically in flexible pipe design. Tiago holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and completed an Erasmus Exchange Programme at the University of Twente. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering was also obtained from Instituto Superior Técnico.
