Pieter Wydooghe is a skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Project Engineer and Project Controls Engineer at DEME Group since October 2019, Pieter also holds the position of Tender Engineer for foundations. Prior to this, Pieter was a Zone Supervisor lifeguard at Gemeente Koksijde from July 2013 to October 2019, responsible for the safety and management of a lifeguard team at the Belgian coast. Pieter further developed leadership skills as Activities Lead at Statix, a student association at KU Leuven, where the focus was on linking theoretical engineering coursework to practical experience. Additionally, Pieter completed a summer internship at Jan De Nul Group in August 2018. Pieter holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven and Polytechnique Montréal, as well as a degree as Burgerlijk Ingenieur in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven.
