Thomas Kodadek is a Professor of Chemistry at UF Scripps Biomedical Research, where involvement began in June 2009. In addition, Thomas co-founded Deluge Biotechnologies in October 2017, which focuses on developing novel DNA-encoded libraries for complex protein and RNA targets. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Translational Research and Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1998 to 2009, and as a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin from 1987 to 1998. Thomas holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Stanford University and completed postdoctoral work in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Francisco. Undergraduate education was completed at the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology.
