Karen Matthews, PhD, serves as the President & CEO of Delta Health Alliance, the largest community-based nonprofit in Mississippi, where they lead a diverse team to improve community health conditions. They previously held various roles at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, including Vice Chancellor and Associate Dean of Telehealth, where they established significant interdisciplinary collaborations and expanded telemedicine networks. With experience as an Associate Professor at both the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Rhodes College, they continue to impact education through adjunct professorships at Christian Brothers University. Karen's earlier career included a position as a Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young.
