Celia Kitchell is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Assistant Engineer at Delta Diablo since December 2020, where previous roles included Junior Engineer. Celia gained valuable experience as an Engineering CO-OP at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, focusing on sewer renovation projects, and as an Engineering Intern at the County of Yolo, contributing to stormwater drainage design and construction oversight. Prior experience includes research as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Center for Water Energy Efficiency at UC Davis and lab work at Berkeley Lab. Celia’s early career involved significant outreach and production roles with the documentary "A Fierce Green Fire," helping to build substantial viewership and manage content. Academically, Celia holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a BA in Environmental Studies from Hampshire College.
