Jim Thomson is a seasoned professional in the consulting industry with extensive experience in the Power & Utilities sector. Currently serving as a Principal at Deloitte Consulting since April 2008, Jim leads Smart Metering and Smart Grid initiatives and oversees Deloitte's Global Smart Grid Community of Practice. Prior to this role, Jim held principal positions at Capgemini and PwC, and served as a Managing Consultant at IBM. Jim's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and Purdue University, where Jim also earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
