Mai Shintani currently serves as Chief of Staff in the State, Local, and Higher Ed Cyber and Strategic Risk sector at Deloitte, where responsibilities include advising clients on organizational strategy, operations, and risk management while leading diverse teams. Prior experience includes advising on diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement at FEMA, as well as various strategic and operational roles within the agency. Additionally, Mai has contributed to research on Japan-China relations and other political topics during a tenure as a Research Associate at Columbia University. Educational credentials comprise a Master of International Affairs in Human Rights from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Soka University of America.
