Melvin Ch'ng is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in product ownership and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Dell Technologies since November 2021, Melvin leads the development of advanced solutions for data matching and deduplication, while prioritizing features and guiding agile data teams. Previously, as an Advisor in Data Engineering at Dell, Melvin created scalable machine learning and GenAI solutions to enhance customer data quality. Prior experience includes a role as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at InsightzClub, where Melvin managed the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle, and instructional positions at San Jose State University, supporting upper division courses in compiler design and software engineering. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, completed in 2017.
