Safaa Mariam serves as the Wellbeing Coordinator for the Student Council at Delhi Private School, Sharjah, since June 2021, contributing to the Leadership Team by representing the school in collaboration with the Health and Mind Club, managing events, and overseeing social media efforts. Previous roles include Head of the Creatives Team for EcoGen, focusing on presentations and event organization, and a member of the Creatives Team for the Health and Mind Club. Safaa has also gained clinical experience through shadowing at Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai and Al Zahra Pvt. Hospital Dubai in 2023. Additionally, research experience includes participation in summer programs at Brown University and the University of Sharjah, specializing in psychopathology and using Python for a project on disease detection in plants. Safaa is on track to complete a High School Diploma in Biology/Biological Sciences in April 2024.
