Melissa G. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of behavioral health services. Melissa began their career as a Clinical Therapist at Allegiance Inspirations IOP in 2007. Melissa then moved on to Union General Hospital, where they worked as a Clinical Therapist before being promoted to the role of IOP Director. Melissa spent nine years at Union General Hospital before joining Richland Parish Hospital in 2017 as the Director of Behavioral Health Services.

Melissa G. obtained their Master of Education (MEd) with a focus on counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Melissa completed their degree between the years 2004 and 2006.
