Asmita Dubey currently serves as a Welfare Officer at the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) since January 2021. In addition to this role, Asmita is a PhD Researcher at Jamia Millia Islamia and has been an Editor for The Violet Journal since 2018. Prior experience includes participation in a workshop on Audio-Visual Media at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development in February 2017. Asmita is pursuing a Master's degree in Sociology from Jamia Millia Islamia and is also working towards a Research Doctorate in Sociology at the same institution. Asmita completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Public Administration, and Hindi from Lucknow University between 2011 and 2014.
