Kaylen Phillips is a Transportation Planner at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, specializing in the Office of Safe Streets since September 2021. Concurrently, Kaylen serves as a Safety Planning Intern at Temple University and has participated in the Student Library Advisory Board to enhance library services for students. Kaylen's background includes significant research experience, exemplified by managing a funded qualitative project on public transportation accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Prior roles include Instructional Lead and Instructor for TRIO's Upward Bound Program, as well as experience in fundraising and administrative support with the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign and US Protective Services. Kaylen holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Urban Studies and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Temple University.
