From the early 1800's through present day, Delaware Academy Central School has sought to lead the area providing learning and growth opportunities to students. These have been in the form of cutting edge academic programs, a wide variety of excellent music, art, business, technology as well as family and consumer science electives, as well as numerous club and athletic programs. 

Over the last two centuries these programs and offerings have had to change many times due to the changes in American ingenuity and technology. Our staff and students always strive to grow and keep our programs ahead of the change curve. The support of the community makes all of this possible.

Nestled on the side of one of the beautiful Catskill Mountains, the school building is the pride of our community. Standing on the front stairs as the tradition of ringing the school bell on the first day of school is an unforgettable experience.
