Kristin Garcia has had extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Kristin started their career in 1995 at GlaxoSmithKline as a Key Account Manager, where they contributed to RX to OTC Switches and worked in Grocery, Mass, and Drug COT in MI and OH. In 1998, Kristin joined Playtex Products as a Regional Business Manager, overseeing 6 direct DSD District Managers for the Suncare Division in FL and managing major grocery accounts such as Publix, Winn Dixie, and Albertsons. Kristin became the Category Captain at Albertsons for the Suncare category from 1998 to 2000. In 2002, Kristin joined Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Region Business Manager-SE, where they managed broker partners within the SE grocery channel, calling on major chains including Publix, Winn Dixie, and Albertsons. Kristin then joined Nestlé in 2002 as a Key Account Manager, responsible for managing Confections and International Brands with an annual volume of $23 million. Kristin also led the DSD Beverage Focus team and implemented business development programs for Nestle Chilled Beverage Division. Since 2016, Kristin has been working at Del Monte Foods, Inc., first as a Senior Business Development Manager and currently as the Sales Director for the Publix Team, where they manage $108 million at Publix within various categories and develops new business and annual business plans.
Kristin Garcia obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Marketing from Bowling Green State University from 1991 to 1995. Kristin also has additional certifications from LinkedIn in various areas such as leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving techniques, and goal setting.
