Peter Laursen is an experienced executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at DEKRA, a role undertaken since September 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the North West Europe Region. Previously, Peter held the position of Managing Director at DEKRA Danmark from 2012 to August 2021, and prior to that, served as Managing Director and Partner at Employment Care from August 2011 to March 2014. Peter's extensive career also includes significant roles at Maersk Line, where contributions ranged from Senior Director of Commercial Business Performance Management to Director of Performance Management, beginning with a Graduate Management Trainee position at Maersk Broker. Peter has military experience as a Premierløjtnant with Den Kongelige Livgarde. Educationally, Peter completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2022 and earned degrees from Copenhagen Business School between 1999 and 2006.
