Timo Spielmann is a seasoned professional in quantitative finance with extensive experience in fixed income investment. Since April 2015, Timo has served as the Head of Quant Fixed Income and Head of Quant Corporate Bonds at Deka Investment, where responsibilities include quantitative fund management and ETF products. Prior to this role, Timo worked at Quoniam Asset Management GmbH as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and completed a traineeship at HSBC focused on trading system development. Timo's earlier experience includes a freelance position as a quant at Lazard Asset Management and an internship at the same firm. Timo began a career foundation as a student worker at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies, contributing to the Bernstein Project in computational neuroscience. Timo holds a Diplom in Physik from Goethe University Frankfurt, obtained in 2010.
