Maximilian Bloomfield is a co-founder and Chief Operations Officer at VundaHaus, responsible for innovative solutions in external house insulation, currently working to transform living conditions and reduce emissions. Previously, Maximilian participated in Carbon13, where a focus on climate solutions led to the establishment of VundaHaus aimed at reducing emissions significantly. Maximilian’s academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge, where research centered on novel structural alloys for aerospace applications, and a degree from the University of Sheffield in Materials Science and Engineering. Active in extracurricular leadership, Maximilian served as President of the Cambridge University Triathlon Club and contributed to STEM promotion as Senior Science and Engineering Champion at the University of Sheffield.
