Susan Pauley is an experienced Human Factors Specialist at DEKA Research & Development, with a specialized focus on medical devices. Since September 2001, Susan has designed and managed Human Factors activities for various infusion pumps, combination products, diabetes, and home dialysis systems, emphasizing usability studies both in the United States and internationally. Prior to this role, Susan held positions as a Human Factors Engineer and Software Release Engineer at GE Healthcare from June 2019 to November 2020, where responsibilities included leading usability initiatives. Additionally, Susan has a background in software configuration management from BAE Systems, where employment spanned from 1989 to 2001.
