Michael Ballou has extensive experience in both engineering and ministry. Currently serving as the Field Service Engineering Technical Lead at DEKA Research & Development since May 2019, Michael oversees the repair of medical devices. Prior to this role, Michael worked at The Water Project, Inc. for over a decade, holding positions as Engineering Validation Test Technician and Member of the Board of Directors, contributing to efforts in providing safe water and sanitation in sub-Saharan Africa. Michael also served as Pastor at North Shore Baptist Church from April 2006 to December 2014, facilitating healing within the church community. Earlier career experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Raytheon, where Michael was involved in defense antenna systems. Academic qualifications include an MDiv in Pastoral Ministry and Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University, and an AS in Engineering Science from Dutchess Community College.
