Georgia Foster is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Assistant Head of Student Experience on a maternity cover basis at Deira International School since August 2022, while also holding the position of Head of Design Technology (DT). Prior to this, Georgia worked at Swindon Academy from March 2021 to July 2022 as the Curriculum Leader for DT and Art, overseeing a team of 11 across various subjects, and previously held the role of Assistant Curriculum Leader in the same institution from July 2013 to May 2020. Georgia began a career in education as a Design & Technology Trainee Teacher at Swindon SCITT in 2012 after transitioning from a background in public relations, where roles included Senior Account Executive at Freud Communications and Account Manager at Fishburn. Georgia holds a degree in History of Art and Design from the University of Southampton.
