Gopi Nalla, P.E. is a Senior Reservoir Engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton since September 2017, specializing in field scale reservoir simulation studies for onshore mature brown fields. Previously, at Chevron from May 2005 to September 2017, Gopi managed water injection target rates in a mature unconventional field, leading optimization projects that resulted in significant cost savings. Gopi also led the 83-N project team, streamlined subsurface evaluations, and established a complex reservoir simulation model for a giant field. Earlier experience includes research on geothermal systems at Idaho National Laboratory and contributions to a chemical flooding module at The University of Texas at Austin and Object Reservoir. Gopi holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering and an MBA, with a foundation in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
