Jared Hamblin-Boone is a seasoned sustainability professional currently serving as Group Chief Sustainability Officer and Director of the Sustainability Centre of Expertise at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since December 2016. Additionally, Jared holds the position of Chair at the Species Recovery Trust since November 2011. Prior experience includes serving as Group Estates Director and Head of Estates at the Environment Agency, where Jared achieved a 25% reduction in operating costs while enhancing services and minimizing risks. Educational qualifications include an MA in Philosophy and the Environment from The University of Manchester and a BA (hons) in Philosophy from the University of Reading.
