Allen Fensome is an experienced platform architect and tech lead currently working at HM Revenue & Customs since September 2018, providing platform services for core customer-facing applications utilizing technologies such as Scala, Mongo, microservices, AWS, ELK, and Kubernetes. Previously, work at Equal Experts involved developing web-based applications from June 2013 to present, along with roles at the Department for Work and Pensions, where native cloud services were designed for pensions data analysis. Allen has also held various tech lead and architect positions at HM Revenue & Customs, Visa, and the Office for National Statistics, focusing on robust service design and implementation across multiple platforms and technologies. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering Design from Coventry University.
