Mary Jean Buhler is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and operations across various government agencies. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Operations at the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board since December 2023, Buhler previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at the Export-Import Bank of the United States from October 2019 to December 2023. Additional roles include Chief Financial Officer/Senior Advisor at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Chief Financial Officer at multiple organizations such as NOAA, the Broadcasting Board of Governors, and the United States Capitol Police. Buhler's educational qualifications include an MBA in Organizational Development from California Lutheran University, a Senior Managers in Government Program from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University at Buffalo.
