Scott M Betts is an experienced professional with a strong background in military service and operations management. Since February 2016, Scott has served as the DOD DVIDS Program Manager for both the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service and the Defense Media Activity, handling public affairs and communication for the Department of Defense. With a military career beginning in 1989 as an Operating Room Specialist in the US Army, Scott rose to the rank of Officer after completing the PA Army National Guard Officer Candidate School in 1995. Prior to current roles, Scott held leadership positions in distribution management, including Director of Operations for the Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System, where strategic guidance was provided for high-performance media engagements. Scott’s education includes a BS in Human Resources from Geneva College and a General Degree from North Hills High School.
