Susan Khazaeli is an accomplished researcher and academic with extensive experience in international relations and political science. Currently serving as a researcher for the Government of Canada since January 2018, Susan also holds an affiliate position with the Program on Strategic Stability Evaluation (POSSE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Susan completed a PhD in Political Science at the University of Ottawa, focusing on Canadian nuclear transfers. In addition to prior roles as an adjunct professor and research assistant at the University of Ottawa, Susan has contributed as an editor-in-chief at the Centre for International Policy Studies and as a senior researcher at the G8 Research Group. Notably, Susan has experience formulating policy ideas for the governance of Jerusalem through the Jerusalem Old City Initiative. Academic qualifications include a BA from the University of Toronto and an MA from the University of Windsor.
