Megan Christiansen is an experienced educator with a strong background in literacy and curriculum development. Currently serving as the ELA Curriculum Specialist at Deerfield Public Schools District 109 since August 2021, Megan previously held roles as a Literacy Specialist at Arlington Heights School District 25 and as a Learning Support Specialist at Franconian International School. With a comprehensive teaching career beginning in 2005 that includes positions as a classroom teacher and literacy interventionist, Megan has developed targeted intervention programs and collaborated closely with educators to enhance student literacy outcomes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from National Louis University, and a Reading Endorsement from the University of St. Francis.
