Julie Caplan is an experienced educator with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Michigan, attained in 2016. Since July 2016, Julie has been serving as a First Grade Teacher at Deerfield Public Schools District 109. Prior to this role, Julie completed a student teaching position at Burns Park Elementary School and taught at the Camp STAR Summer Treatment Program in 2015. Julie's background in education includes experience as an Educational Counselor at Camp STAR in 2014 and as a Camp Counselor with Northbrook Park District from 2010 to 2013.
