Shira Wald currently serves as a Medical Scribe at DeepScribe since December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Corporal in the Israel Defense Forces from January 2021 to February 2022, and volunteer work at the Ilan Sports Center for Children with Disabilities in early 2020. Shira helped with hydrotherapy and physical therapy while creating activities for children. At the University of Massachusetts Amherst from November 2016 to December 2019, Shira worked as an Exam Proctor, assisting students with disabilities during exams. Additionally, Shira was a Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2019, involved in setting up laboratory space and reviewing relevant research articles. Education includes pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, along with a degree in Biology on a Pre-Dental track from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College. Shira also participated as an exchange student in Zoology/Animal Biology at the University of Hawaii and in Judaic Studies at Tel Aviv University.
