John Santerre PhD is a seasoned expert in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, currently serving as Special Project Lead at DeepLearning.AI and Research Advisor at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. With significant academic roles as Lead Adjunct Professor at Southern Methodist University and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, John also contributes as an Advisory Board Member in Big Data. Previously, John founded and led the AI Lab at Silicon Valley Bank and held multiple positions at SAP, including Director of Data Science and Principal Data Scientist. Johns' earlier experience includes serving as Chief Data Scientist at Triggr Health and Research Assistant at Argonne National Laboratory. John holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in English/Film from Middlebury College.
