Lanre Ibraheem is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Engineering Team Lead at Deel since April 2024, where responsibilities include managing a team of engineers focused on US payroll. Prior to this role, Lanre held the position of Senior Software Engineer II at Omnipresent from August 2021 to March 2024, leading a payroll engineering team on various projects, including payroll reporting software. As Co-Founder of Tunnel from August 2022 until its acquisition by Prembly in July 2023, Lanre contributed to the development of infrastructure for real-time credit-data sharing and instant payments. Earlier, Lanre worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Okra, Inc., contributing to Africa's pioneering open-banking infrastructure, and as a Software Developer at TeraRave, focusing on on-demand delivery marketplaces and software lifecycle development. Lanre holds a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Ilorin.
