Wayne Whitehead began their career in 1991 as an Environmental Test Engineer at AT&T. In 1994, they moved to Lucent Technologies / AT&T Bell Labs as an RF / Microwave Design Engineer, where they designed RF power amplifiers and performed RF / Electrical Engineering roles. In 2001, they joined Nokia as a Cell Site Design Engineer and RF / Microwave Design Engineer, where they were a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and supported OEM development of new remote radio heads and RF power amplifiers. In 2020, they became an RF Engineer at Dedrone, working with C-UAS technology.
Wayne Whitehead obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
