Guangping Gao is a Scientific Advisor at Decibel Therapeutics. Guangping was previously an Associate Research Scientist at the University of Iowa from March 2009 to May 2016, and a Research Associate at the University of Colorado at Boulder from May 2005 to March 2009.

Guangping Gao has a Ph.D from the University of Colorado Boulder in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, an MS from Peking University in Cell Biology and Genetics, and a BS from Peking University in Biology. Guangping also went to Lanzhou First High School.
